The history of Cooperativa Frísia is intertwined with that of the Dutch migration to Paraná itself. It all begins with the arrival of families to Carambeí, a town located 130 km away from Curitiba, and consolidates itself year after year with the development of the milk industry in the area. The company would be one of the parties responsible for implementing and spreading the culture of milk processing in the Campos Gerais, contributing to the current numbers with 3 million litters of daily processed milk, which places it as one of the world’s leading references on this sector. Initially known as Bataco Cooperativa Industrial, the company has coupled modern management techniques with training of countrymen and an ongoing investment in technology.
